part of a large temple complex or monument group that is part of the Tiwanaku Site
The stones affect the magnetic field, see the video below. Tiwanaku is significant in Inca traditions because it is believed to be the site where the world was created. Unfortunately currently the site is reconstructed according to modern fantasies of how it should have been... Reports point that access to the real old stones with precise (machine like stone work) is getting more and more restricted every year... instead they show you only modern restorations that indeed look like by some primitive folks.
The Pumapunku complex consists of an unwalled western court, a central unwalled esplanade, a terraced platform mound that is faced with stone, and a walled eastern court. The precision of stone work is on the edge of modern technology. Megalithic tunnels were found below the complex. The site was most likely destroyed by a very powerful explosion. The evidence of that is the way the gigantic stones were found scattered and cracked.
