Atlit-Yam, Israel, West Asia

Megaliths 12 meters below sea level

Today, it lies between 8–12 meters (26–39 ft) beneath sea level. It covers an area of ca. 40,000 square meters (47,800 sq yd). Underwater excavations have uncovered megalithic circle, rectangular houses and a well. Weren't we supposed to bang our heads with big bones thousands of years ago when the water levels were so different?
