Elphinstone Reef "sarcophagus", Egypt, North Africa

At 58 meters deep there is an arch on Elphinstone Reef. In the arch there is what is described as a stone coffin or sarcophagus. Whilst this site is dived frequently by experienced deep divers, I don't think that there has been an official investigation into what the rectangular stone structure is.

This site belongs to the following categories: Structure/Formation that could be Natural or Not
Underwater (partially or completely)
