Castles of Eğil, Turkey, West Asia

absolutely amazing, the core of the rock carved castle is still standing, a living piece of fairy tale

The oldest is rock carved, only parts of the core remain. Also there are some megaliths. And then monkey quality undressed stone/mortar work of course ... on the top as usual. Perfect example of the "evolution" in building. And is this a solid pyramid on one of the photos?
