Pulemelei mound, Samoa, Oceania

  65 by 60 metres base and 12 high pyramidal mound

On Upolu is another ceremonial centre consisting of immense earthen mounds, seven of which are truncated, rectangular pyramids. The largest of them surpasses the Pulemelei in size: it is 105.5 by 95.8 m at its base, about 12.2 m high, and appears to be made entirely of earth.
